Gin Smash

1/2oz simple syrup
Citrus & fruit/berries

Directions
Muddle gin and citrus, fruit & herbs, add simple syrup, fill with ice, top with soda. Garnish with fresh herbs.
There are many variations of this classic cocktail, including the mojito, which allows some great room for creativity. Favourites of ours: grapefruit & mint, strawberry & basil, cucumber & dill.
Hazy Day
Difficulty: Easy

2oz Grapefruit juice
Hazy IPA
Grapefruit Slice
Directions
Add Gin & Grapefruit to collins glass with ice, top with IPA, garnish with grapefruit.
The hop/grapefruit bitterness in this cocktail play well against each other, and the botanicals in the gin make for a bold complexity of flavours. Playing with your IPA selection you can add your own twist.
Sarsparilyzer
Difficulty: Easy

1oz Vodka
1oz Sarsaparilla Schnapps
Cola
Milk/Cream
Directions
Add vodka, and schnapps to glass with ice, fill half of the remaining space with cola, top with cream, stir before drinking.
Twist on a classic paralyzer, leaning into root beer float territory.
Negroni Spritz
Difficulty: Easy
Ingredients: Common
Glassware: Wine

2oz negroni
4oz sparkling wine
Orange slice
Directions
Pour Negroni into glass with ice, top with sparkling wine, garnish with orange.
This bittersweet cocktail is a refreshing twist on a classic, for a lighter version sub sparkling wine with soda.
Purple Lady
Difficulty: Moderate
Ingredients: Common
Glassware: Wine/Coupe
Ingredients
2oz Gin8/Barmans Gin
1/2oz Lemon
1/2oz Ribena
Directions
Mix all ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice, shake and strain into a small wine glass or coupe glass.
Sweet sour and fruity, a twist on the white lady or pink lady, is spirit forward and packs a punch.
